“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. We’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day…” – Ryan Gosling, The Notebook
These couples may not be technically real, but all inspiration has to come from somewhere. Whether it may be an author, poet or director, you can’t just make up feelings that you have never felt. If they admit it or not, their writings are true to life in some way.
Romeo + Juliet
Of course, they have to be the first couple on this list. Star crossed lovers, feuding families, a young love so strong they fought everything around them just to be together. The greatest tragic love story of all time.

I hope that everyone is a fan of F.R.I.E.N.D.S here! “DID SHE GET OFF THE PLANE?”. For a couple in a comedy series, this great love was an emotional rollercoaster at times. There were ups and downs and lots of a particular someone saying “We were on a break!” I don’t know about you, but I am glad they ended up together… I totally cried (shh!).
Marshall & Lily
The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on screen couple, were just perfection. Like all duos on screen and off, things aren’t always plain sailing. There were moments you thought it was over forever and moments you thought it will last forever. Thankfully, this great love didn’t die and this perfect modern day couple lived happily ever after.
