Perfect for burning those calories and keeping your muscles in shape, spinning classes are a great way to tone yourself before your big day.<\/p>\n<h2>So, what happens at a spinning class?<\/h2>\n<p>Karen in the office discovered recently, due to a genuine misinterpretation of the word, that it actually has nothing to do with spinning yourself around! Basically it&#8217;s an area with a whole bunch of exercise bikes. Every rider on a bike is spinning the pedals at a rapid pace. Usually there is loud music playing and an instructor to guide you through the class. A group class can last anything from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how intense the class is. Having the instructor and group classes can be great as they&#8217;re a real motivator to keep you on track.<\/p>\n<h2>Pros<\/h2>\n<p>A great workout<br \/>\nNo rain, wind or dealing with traffic<br \/>\nPerfect for all ability levels<br \/>\nNo need to wear a helmet!<\/p>\n<h2>Cons<\/h2>\n<p>You really have to push yourself to your limit (can also be good!)<br \/>\nClasses can be boring or tedious<br \/>\nYou don&#8217;t get the enjoyment of a real bike, fresh air and seeing the countryside<\/p>\n<p>A good instructor can really motivate and encourage you to push yourself, and will more than likely give you more vigorous workout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Spinning classes are a fantastic way to have an energetic workout.
