The vows took place in front of an ornate fireplace which was swathed in blooms.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1500\" height=\"994\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49138\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-uk.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2020\/10\/Millions-Wedding26.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the ceremony, guests were guided outside the historic exterior of RSA House for photos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1067\" height=\"1600\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49137\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-uk.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2020\/10\/Millions-Wedding32.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guests then moved to the recently renovated Tavern Room where Prosecco and a selection of delicate canap\u00e9s were consumed at designated seating areas, matching the seating plan for dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The call for dinner was made and guests made their way to the Great Room which provided a memorable setting for the wedding dinner as the room features giant murals that were painted in 1777. Tables were dressed in rustic white flowers and foliage. The three-course meal included black mustard spiced Dorset crab cake Scotch sirloin and short rib with pomme fondant. In tribute to the couple\u2019s roots, dessert was a Yorkshire custard tart with strawberries, passionfruit and ginger cream.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49140\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-uk.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2020\/10\/Millions-Wedding14.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sophie says: \u201cWe\u2019ve always wanted to get married in London, it\u2019s where we met and where we\u2019ve spent our whole relationship together. I came across RSA House and we fell in love with it immediately. We loved the townhouse feel and the different spaces available \u2013 it felt so unique compared to other venues we\u2019d seen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re considering a micro wedding, here\u2019s RSA\u2019s food for thought:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intimate doesn\u2019t mean less lavish or less beautiful. Having a smaller celebration can mean a higher budget for other elements such as flowers and d\u00e9cor<\/span><\/li>\n<li>In a world where you cannot hug or kiss, an intimate wedding with family and friends safely reunited could mean an even more special wedding day<\/li>\n<li>Gifts, favours and personal touches have no restrictions. You have a chance, and the time, to really spoil your guests with things that are meaningful to you.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t rule out venues that are spacious. A venue like RSA House can usually host 120, but this is the perfect size for intimate celebrations allowing for distancing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1067\" height=\"1600\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49139\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-uk.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2020\/10\/Millions-Wedding60.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of the COVID-secure measures that were in place for Sophie and Ben\u2019s Wedding:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guests were sent a personalised RSA House pre-wedding guide\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Guests were sent floor plans for adhering to household bubbles<\/li>\n<li>Two metre physical distancing floor markers positioned outside to manage queues<\/li>\n<li>Digital contactless temperature checks were taken on arrival<\/li>\n<li>On entry, guests sanitised their hands<\/li>\n<li>A two meter distance between the couple and registrars<\/li>\n<li>Canapes were served in designated seating areas, matching the seating plan for dinner<\/li>\n<li>Plenty of signage throughout the venue<\/li>\n<li>Floor markings in the event spaces and public areas<\/li>\n<li>A one-way flow of traffic around the venue<\/li>\n<li>Reduced interaction amongst staff and guests<\/li>\n<li>Capacities reduced to two meters or one meter where mitigation was in place<\/li>\n<li>Guests wore masks when moving around the venue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thersa.org\/hire-rsa-house\" class=\"broken_link\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow\">RSA House<\/a> operates in accordance with safety guidelines established in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hirespace.com\/c\/safer-events\/event-organisers\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018Safer events \u2013 A Framework for Action\u2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> white paper and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitbritain.org\/business-advice\/were-good-go-industry-standard\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visit Britain<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> accreditations, Westminster council risk assessments and in accordance with public health and government guidance.
