The receptionist on the day (Damian) also went above and beyond - organising an early breakfast, regular refreshments whilst the bridesmaids and I got ready and keeping me calm! We cannot thank the whole team enough!

had Ann helping us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. She knew everything and had all the timings down to a T. The food was hot and delicious, service was efficient, there were plenty of bar staff and loads of space for guests. The weather was dry for the morning so we got to have welcome drinks in the garden which was so pretty. I would definitely recommend Barton Grange to anyone considering booking their wedding, they cater for large groups regularly and it really shows. Lots of our guests commented on how lovely and well organised the day was.

last May bank holiday 2 years ago and although they were incredibly busy with wedding bookings everyday nothing was too much trouble.the hotel owner mr topping took us round personally and the staff including Tania and rob took 5 minutes out from their busy schedule to show us how we would be greeted if it was our day.
The package we received was phenomenal for the cost and left us open to do whatever we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble or too crazy a request.
We were assigned Tania as a wedding coordinator who bent over double to see every little detail was perfect. We booked rob as well who really helped make the day and who my guests are still raving about!
The food for the wedding breakfast/evening buffet was exquisite and all 86 of the day guests commented on it.
They even catered for my husbands severely disabled brother and again nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are stunning, immaculately clean and comfortable.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough and if I could give it more stars I would. They made my day amazing. Mr topping your staff are amazing and your hotel stunning!thankyou

the phone or an email which was very important to us as we weren't exactly within walking distance to the venue. The food was incredible. All of our guests complimented it which is no easy feat as they are all from a catering background themselves!! The chef had no problem at all tweaking our menu slightly to cater for 5 vegetarians, a diabetic & a newly pregnant Bride with severe morning sickness. All of which was greatly appreciated. The service was also exceptional, throughout every department the staff couldn't do enough for us. Stuart was the gentleman responsible for the smooth running of our day and he did an amazing job. He has such a calming vibe about him which becomes an invaluable trait when dealing with an emotional wreck such as myself! He did have a little help from Rob who is the resident dJ. Now about Rob , Barton grange you have a diamond in that man. He is a man who has clearly found his niche in life. Every single guest commented on how fantastically funny he was . A star in the making. We now have a reputation for throwing an amazing party and Barton grange hotel can take full credit for that!! If you need a venue please consider them & their team you will not be disappointed

process from booking an appointment to booking the wedding. Any queries, no matter how trivial, that we had about any part of the wedding were always answered promptly, which added piece of mind during planning. We had a civil ceremony followed by wedding breakfast and evening reception, all of which were in the Barton Suite and fabulous! The food was delicious and all of the guests commented on how nice it was.

During the open day we met various suppliers who Barton Grange recommend and ended up booking a number of their preferred suppliers, which worked out very well for us. Our wedding organiser who was there for the whole day was Stuart and he, along with Rob the DJ ensured that all of our guests were looked after, knew where to go and that they were having a good time (the whole team at Barton Grange were fantastic during the wedding). This meant that we did not need to worry about any of those things and could concentrate on enjoying our day - it really does fly by.

We have had so many positive comments from our guests about the hotel itself, the comfortable bedrooms, the staff, the food and that they had a wonderful day and evening. We just wish that we could rewind and relive it..... however, the go pro video will have to do!

hotel was, and our guests who had a room for the night and breakfast in the morning were thrilled with their spacious rooms, as well as the delicious breakfast.
We were in the Grange Room, and it was most definitely used to its full potential. Members of staff in the lead up to our wedding, were on hand to help with anything, from seating plans and adding on last minute guests!
On the day, Alison and every member of staff, (kitchen, reception, bar etc) Made sure our day was problem free, and an enjoyment to all. Every detail was spectacular, and just how we had imagined it.
They are all willing to go that extra mile to make sure our day was truly unforgettable. Now, two weeks on, everyone is still raving about what a fantastic day it was!

Thank you so much to all the staff at Barton Grange for giving us everything we had hoped for, to start our married lives together.
