Our wedding co-ordinators are experienced in guiding couples through all the decisions and arrangements that are needed, creating a tailor-made wedding day that is perfect in every way. When choosing The Belmont you can rest assured that you and your guests will be looked after throughout the big day.

The Belmont is ideally situated as it's just a few minutes walk from Leicester city centre, yet overlooking the calm and historic, tree-lined New Walk. There are great opportunities for photographs in the Oval Gardens, opposite the hotel, and in some of the beautifully decorated rooms within our characterful victorian building.

Our 74 bedrooms vary from modern to traditional, all with flat screen televisions with freeview, complimentary wifi and en-suite bathrooms. We also offer complimentary parking during your stay with us.

We had previously booked another venue for our wedding, but saw a poster with their wedding packages on whilst attending a fair at The Belmont and couldn't believe what good value it was compared to what we already had booked. In fact, it was so good, that we lost our £500 deposit at the first …

It was definitely a blessing in disguise because we couldn't have hoped for a better venue for our wedding. Our wedding planner/co-ordinator, Caroline, was only ever a phone call or email away and always responded quickly and professionally. It was SO reassuring knowing that we could rely on her. In the lead up to the big day, everything was running so smoothly but on the day itself, we had a very unexpected problem - an evening guest had turned up at the ceremony! We had no meal or place setting for them! At the first opportunity we told Caroline what had happened and she was so calm and reassuring. She arranged for an extra table setting and a meal, complete with name card, which all just seemed to magically appear!
Every member of staff that we encountered at The Belmont was just lovely. We stayed there overnight and the next morning was my new husband's birthday and Caroline had written a card for him, which was a lovely, personal touch. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was all packed up ready for us to take home with us after our breakfast.
In short, the whole day was just how it should be - no stress, full of love, laughter and fun, and we are so grateful to The Belmont and to Caroline in particular for making our day so special.

All of our guests who attended the wedding stated this to, and another thank you for the beautiful, clean and high quality rooms our selves and guests stayed in.
Another thank you again for making our wedding so perfect, from the decorations, the food, order of the day and everything else on top. Our wedding went smoothly and relaxed and you helped make this happen.
