The Kingscliff Hotel is a stunning 1930’s seaside hotel with a prime seafront location along the striking Essex Sunshine coast. Steeped in history, the iconic building was lovingly restored to its former glory in 2013.

The venue offers two beautiful licensed areas in which you can hold you ceremony including our outside gazebo, allowing couples to say their vows whilst glancing out at sea.

The dazzling cliff top & beach backdrops as well as the pretty green garden offer unique picturesque settings for your perfect wedding photographs.

All catering is offered onsite and the head chef can create menus that can be tailor-made to suit your tastes and requirements.

With 30 luxurious bedrooms and a stunning four poster-bed bridal suite we can offer the bridal couple as well as their guests the convenience of onsite accommodation.

On the 20th July, we had our wedding reception held at The Kingscliff Hotel and all we can say is wow!

Can not thank all the staff enough for all their hard work all afternoon and evening. The food was amazing could not fault this at all and the bar service was perfect.

This lady deserves a medal, during the time between booking our wedding and the actual day, there was a bit of a roller coaster of events (room changes) but Rebecca could not do enough to ensure our special day was perfect and she well and truly did.

We can not thank all the staff at the Kingscliff enough for ensuring our special day was perfect.

We will definitely be coming back for anniversary meals.

Absolutely cannot fault the Kingscliff team from the beginning of planning, right to the end. Impeccable service by all and made our stay at the hotel on the night so special. They accommodated us all in the most professional way and I highly recommend them for any events that you have coming up.

We had our wedding at the Kingscliff on the 7th June 2019. We opted for the twilight package, the ceremony was at 5pm followed by a Buffett reception at 6.30. Everyone had a fantastic time and the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious especially the canapes. Most of our …

guests stayed the night at the hotel and said how lovely and comfortable the rooms and beds were. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice. The honeymoon suite was lovely. We live in Yorkshire and decided to get married at the Kingscliff because most of our relatives live close by, we have also been to functions in the past at the hotel so we knew it was the place for us. Rebecca, the events organiser was very helpful in the planning of our wedding, nothing was too much trouble and was always on hand to answer any questions.
