Norfolk

Norfolk is renowned for wonderful beaches, coastline and big skies.  It’s a flat county, which is great for spectacular vistas and sprawling landscapes. The Norfolk Broads or the Broads National Park, is a well known man made network of navigable rivers and lakes. This historic county is bounded by Suffolk to the south, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire to the west and, “The Wash” and the North Sea to the north and east.  Along the coast you will find a variation of features from cliffs to marram grass-tufted dunes, and tidal salt marshes. Norfolk has three famous seaside resorts, Great Yarmouth, Cromer, and Hunstanton which draw the crowds in Summer. There is a sea pier at Cromer with a theatre at the end. Norwich city is the county town with a population of approximately 140k and is said to be one of the most complete medieval towns in the UK. It’s also recently been deemed the happiest place to work in the UK. It has a flourishing art scene, music and culture, High Street shopping, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. It’s a fabulous place for wedding photos.  With 90% of its landscape devoted to farming, Norfolk is truly one of the most rural counties in England, it’s a lovely choice for your wedding day.
